Veterans Day Ceremony in Taylor Park
On Monday, November 11, 2013 there will be a Veterans Day remembrance/celebration ceremony in Taylor Park. This event will be an opportunity for the students of Saint Albans to honor our valued veterans alongside their community members. In addition to local veterans and community members, students in grades 5 through 8 from Saint Albans Town Educational Center will join with students from Saint Albans City School to celebrate and remember the contributions of veterans from our nation and our community. A student from each school will make a patriotic speech. We will be walking to and from the event (leaving the school about 10:15am) so please be sure your child is dressed for the weather on the morning of November 11th.
We welcome any family members of students and veterans to join us at Taylor Park. This is an important event and we are proud that our students and our school are taking part.
