We wanted to remind families that we will continue to use the AlertNow system to announce school cancellations and we will begin using it this year for reminders about school wide events.
Thursday, September 18th is our Grades 5-8 Open House from 5:30-7:00pm! Come visit your child’s classroom and the school.
The Open Doors Junior Iron Chef Group is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner from 5:30-7:00pm. Adults: $6.00 Children: $4.00 Family of four: $18.00 plus $2.00 per additional child.
Reminders:
- We ask that students not eat on school buses (to and from school and while riding buses for athletics and school field trips). Thank you!
- We do not allow students to consume or bring nut products into the school. We have a number of students with life-threatening allergies to nuts (peanuts and tree nuts). We appreciate your cooperation.
WALKING TO SCHOOL!!
We had another successful Walking/Biking Wednesday! Thank you to all our students and parent volunteers who participated. We had about 100 walkers/bikers! Congratulations. We plan to walk every Wednesday until November (weather permitting).
