A Message from the ACT 46 Committee
If the Articles of Agreement to merge is approved by the voters in all three towns (St. Albans Town, St. Albans City and Fairfield), taxpayers will get tax incentives over five years of 10 cents, 8 cents, 6 cents, 4 cents and 2 cents in each of the participating towns. No one can determine what the tax impact will be until budgets are passed, but it will be that much less than it will be without the incentives. Visit the website for more information:
