A Message from the ACT 46 Committee

The Act 46 law states that the New Unified School Board must have proportional representation based on population. Using the 2010 census, this means that there must be four votes from St. Albans Town, four votes from St. Albans City and one vote from Fairfield. After much discussion, the FCSU Act 46 Committee chose to have two representatives from Fairfield, each having one-half vote. All representatives will be elected by all three towns. If you have questions not answered there feel free to email them to
