Coming to SATEC March 25th and 26th:
Ted Scheu the Poetry Guy

“Although I am a quiet, introverted writer when I’m at my desk at home, my greatest joys come from my work as a visiting author, when I usually get pretty ‘animated.’  I love sharing my own writing and getting honest, immediate feedback from kids, but even more important to me is the satisfaction I get working with the kids directly--inspiring them to see their world with sharper eyes, helping them uncover their own writer’s voice, and making a special connection with them.” - Ted Scheu

Ted Scheu the Poetry Guy is coming to our school on March 25 and March 26.  He will be doing an assembly for students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 on Wednesday morning in the gym.  During the day on Wednesday and Thursday, he will be meeting with all of the learning communities in small groups to talk about the writing process.  Our students will be able to share their work with Ted and get personal feedback from this delightful author. You can check out Ted’s website for poems and videos at www.poetryguy.com.
