Lunch Menu week of 4/4.  Please Remember that there is no fee for Breakfast and Lunch again this year. We do ask however that you still complete the Free and Reduced Meals Application as that eligibility also is used for the P-EBT Program.

Parent Teacher Conferences April 7th-April 15th-No School April 15th

As we prepare for Parent/Teacher Conferences, we wanted to share that we will activate our online scheduling system on Tuesday, March 29th at 8:00 am. Scheduling will be open until Thursday, April 14th at 9:00pm. To get to the Parent/Teacher Conference Scheduler please visit http://www.maplerun.org/o/satec and look for the Pick A Time link in the “For Parents” section in the menu. Families will have the option of an in person or virtual conference.

Reminder from the Health Office
Please do not send your child to school with cough drops. These are considered medication and can not be carried to school by a student (as with ALL medications).
We do have cough drops in the office that we can give, if needed. If you would like your child to have a specific type of cough drop, we ask that an adult bring them in and sign a permission form.
We continue to encourage you to keep your child home if they are sick and they should not return until their symptoms are significantly improved.

Farm to School News

A quick check of the grow labs Monday morning showed so many plants already sprouting! Almost everything that classes planted last week is already sprouting. They're doing a great job of caring for their little sprouts!

Fun fact: the first leaves that a plant sprouts are called cotyledons. They provide special nutrition to the seeds and kickstart photosynthesis. Check out more photos here. And to see more photos from Ms. Thompson and Ms. Curry’s classes go to our Farm to School Website.
