St. Albans Town School Board:
The St. Albans Town School Board will be holding their regular board meeting on Wednesday, 5/11 beginning at 6pm in Conference Room B. Please join us to provide feedback and hear more about the revised budget proposal.
Help us find a name for our newly formed unified school district:
Contest: Seeking creative name for the new unified district.
We seek to find a name that will evoke what makes our communities special and uniquely related. The new district encompasses Fairfield, St. Albans City, St. Albans Town (and BFA). It serves Pre K through 12th Grade, as well as the Northwest Technical Center.
Examples: Cold Hollow, South of France, Deerfield, etc.
Entry: Anyone - students, residents, teachers, etc. may submit an entry.
Get creative and come up with the selected name and you win bragging rights and will be recognized throughout the community. The current name, assigned by the state is Franklin Central Unified Union School District (FCUUSD).We hope our communities can come up with something more thought provoking.
The Supervisory Union has the right to reject any or all names to avoid any inappropriate entries.

The Franklin County Animal Rescue needs our help and POW a CHAMP Community enrichment group is organizing a collection drive for them. Donations of cleaning and office supplies, cat and dog food (dry and canned), litter, toys, and more. Check out our posters for a more detailed list.
The homeroom that donates the most items will win a variety of baked goodies made by POW members. We will be collecting items from Monday, May 9th to Friday, May 27th. Items will be collected on Tuesdays and Fridays.
We will share weekly tallies on Mondays to encourage friendly competition. Thank you for your help!

8th Grade Athletic Banquet
SATEC’s Athletics will host it’s annual 8th Grade Athletic Banquet on Monday, June 6th from 6:00-8:00. This night will dedicated to recognize any 8th grader that participated in a sport this year. Invitations with more information will be mailed home.

This past Friday, SATEC’s 5-8 Fitnes teams competed in the annual VTAPEHRD fitness competition which was held at Norwich University.
Representing SATEC was, Kelsey Miles,Maddie Montagne,Maya Frost,Owen Buckpit, Zach Ries,Tanner Poquette,Owen Benoit, Ethan Bruley, Calvin Storms, Cole Langlois,CC DesLauriers, Emilia Montagne, Brianna Conger, Lydia Hodgeman, Jacob Law, Jake Nelson, Jake Reynolds, Lilly Laughlin, Alyssa Thomas, Chiara Skeels, Clark Kennedy, Dylan Lamson, Josh Hayden Matthew Konrad, Carolyn Perry, Maddie Hungerford, Meghan Connor, and Vivian Lanfear.
