Girls On The Run and Heart and Sole Opportunity
SATEC's Girls on the Run and Heart and Sole programs will be completing their season goal by participating in 5K run on Saturday, June 4th 2016. We have 28 girls in grade 3-7 that are in the program. We would love if our staff members participated too. You can sign up in advance to run/walk (click on the link below) or come that day and show your support.
If you have any questions please contact Ms.Ely.
Thanks!

The Franklin County Animal Rescue needs our help and POW (a CHAMP Community enrichment group) is organizing a collection drive for them. In speaking with Rusty at FCAR we discovered that they are in high need of cat food and litter. They have a very high number of cats and kittens at the shelter and in foster homes. Below is a wish list copied from their website.

Wish List

  • Canned Dog and Cat Food (Innova, California Natural, Wellness, Merrick, Eagle Brand)
  • Gentle Leader Harnesses or Head collars, Halti Head Collars, Lupine Martingale Collars
  • Durable Dog Chew Toys (Kong, Nylabone, hard rubber, Buster cubes, etc.)
  • Cleaning Supplies ( paper towels, toilet paper, dryer sheets,)
  • Clumping Cat Litter
  • 13 and 50 Gallon Trash Bags
  • Postage Stamps
  • Printer Paper
  • Dry Cat Food (Kirkland brand (Costco) Purple bag,  for cats and kitten
  • 50 foot Garden hose for kennels.

The homeroom that donates the most items will win a variety of baked goodies made by POW members.
