An Evening with Joelle Van Lent
COVID 19 has had a huge impact on each of us, and our entire community. As educators, we have reached out to Joelle van Lent to help us make sense of our role at this time and to help us feel confident in supporting the children and families we serve. 


We would like to provide a Zoom session with Joelle for our interested families on Thursday May 28th at 6:30pm.  This session is designed to explore how we are impacted by the stress we are each experiencing, and what we can do as individuals and caregivers to best support our children.

Dr. van Lent’s approach is geared toward fostering resilience and creating communities that support healthy development. She is currently in private practice based in the northwestern part of Vermont and works across the state with schools and agencies.

Friday, May 22nd 
SATEC Staff will be doing another car parade to greet our students from afar on 
Friday May 22.
Parade Route:
Leaving SATEC at 3:30:
Go down South Main St., up Prospect, over Bayview,up and around to Prospect Hill,
down Prospect Hill to Main St. again, over to Harborview, back down to Main St..
From There:
Over to Parsons, up Parsons, down Orchard, up Fairfax, over Thorpe Ave, through
Tanglewood, back to Fairfax, through Clyde Allen, up to 104, drive through the complex
parking lot, turn right on 104 ,over to Allaire Dr, back to 104.
From There:
Take 104/105 to Hardack, go through Hill Farm Estates, down Congress to High Street,
take High Street to 105, to Main St, go across Main St. to Lower Newton.
From There:
Take Lower Newton to Maquam Shore, take Maquam Shore to Hathaway Point,
Turn around at boat launch back through the Bay, up Lake,over Bronson, up Nason,
back to school
*Students not on the parade route can see us going down Main Street from the
school to Prospect Hill, Complex parking lot ( we will drive through),
Hard'ack Hill Entrance, and the Bay Park.

Memorial Day
No Food Delivery


Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day. We will not be delivering meals that
day. To help your family, we will be delivering 4 days of meals on
Thursday May 21st. To get the meals to fit in the bag, you will receive a
quart of milk instead of 4 cup containers.
The next food delivery will be Thursday May 28th. On Tuesday May 26th,
however, we will have meals available for pickup 11:00am-12:30pm at;
St. Albans City School - Gym Entrance
St. Albans Town Education Center
Bellows Free Academy
If you would like to pickup a meal, please call 802-527-0565 and let us
know the number of meals or return the portion below. This will help us get
the right number of meals to each site.
