Vermont Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (VTPBiS )
SATEC will be implementing Vermont Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (VTPBiS ) in the fall of 2015. Link to PBiS State Site SATEC has a PBiS team in place to participate in training and plan implementation of this framework for preventing and responding to problem behavior to meet the learning needs of all students within a positive school climate. The training will help SATEC align our systems, data, and practices to promote both behavioral and academic success for all students. To prepare for this initiative all SATEC staff has been asked to complete a survey this month. In addition, we will have a PBiS consultant visit SATEC on Monday, March 16th to interview random students and staff. The information in the survey and interviews will provide baseline information for us as we design our plan to improve school climate and positive educational outcomes for all students.
There will be no school on Monday March 23rd due to Parent Conferences.
The Parent/Teacher online scheduler is now open and accepting appointments for our upcoming Parent/Teacher conferences the week of March 16th-23rd. Teachers have appointments on a variety of before and after school hours that week. The link can be found in the “Student/Parent” section of our website. Open Doors:
Open Doors will begin on Monday, March 16th. We still have openings in some classes. Please contact Ms. Rose for more information mrbedard@fcsuvt.org or 752-2703.
Athletics:
Those Winter Athletes who have not returned their uniforms receives a bill.
It has been stated that if the Athletic Department does not receive your uniform by the date listed above, they will have considered it a “loss” and will be charging the student-athlete $30.00 to replace it.
- If you still have your uniform please return it to Ms. Rose in a plastic bag with your name, number and team on it ASAP.
- If you believe that you have turned in your uniform in and this a mistake, please find time to come see Ms. Rose to claim one of the many Jerseys that have no names attached to it.
- If you have lost your Jersey please enclose a check made out to SATEC Athletics for $30.00 and bring in to Ms. Rose by 3/19.
