“.....I am writing to address the recent “clown issue” that some of you may have heard about. As I posted on our school website and Blog yesterday, Law Enforcement has looked into these issues and determined that there is no legitimate threat. This was part of a national hoax and some local teenagers posted some information on Facebook about clowns. Law Enforcement has met with these individuals and dealt with the situation……”

SATEC 5/6 and 7/8 Spelling Bee Teams for the W-I-N !
Congratulations to our 5/6 and 7/8 Spelling Bee Teams for their victories at the FCSU Spelling Bee Competition yesterday at Fairfield Town Hall. Both teams will now advance to the regional event. (Date,time, and location TBA)
Our 5/6 team is coached by Mrs. Laurie Ely and consists of Maura Thompson, Charlie Thompson, Anthony Matas, Keegan Warren, Maddison Gagner, and Wyatt Root.
Our 7/8 (all 8th grade) team is coached by Mrs. Marie Jennette and consists of Will Dumont, Soukaina Jamil, Gage Rucki, Nate Smullen, Olivia Belrose, and Autumn Couturier.
