Parent/Teacher conference window will be from April 17th - May 12th (except for Spring vacation week in April). If you do not have internet access or need additional help setting up your conference, please call Tammy Deso 752-2700.
St. Albans Town Educational Center will host a Kindergarten Open House for the upcoming school year on April 18, 2017 at 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM or 5:00 PM- 5:45 PM. If you live in St. Albans Town and your child will be 5 years old by September 1, 2017 please stop by and visit. You and your child will get a chance to meet the teachers, other staff, and tour the Kindergarten. If you have not yet registered your child, this is an opportunity to do so. We will also be scheduling Kindergarten Screenings for June. If you are unable to attend, you can stop by the office any school day from 7:00 to 3:30 to pick up a registration packet.
The Abbey will offer bag lunches at the regular lunch price for students to take home will them on our half days April 21st and May 5th that are scheduled for our snow day makeups. Students will be dismissed at 11:45. Lunch forms were sent home with the students.
Dear Parents/Guardians of 4th grade girls,
We would like to invite you and your daughter to attend an informational evening on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the SATEC health classroom. During this time, we will be reviewing information on puberty and the changes they can expect over the next few years. We really value having family be part of this discussion. We will provide drinks and snacks. If you are looking for other resources to talk to your child about this topic, two great books are, The Care and Keeping of You, and The Care and Keeping of You, 2, both published by American Girl Publishing.
