SATEC COVID Update
May 25, 2021
Greetings SATEC Community,
I have received information indicating that several members of our school community have tested positive for COVID 19. As part of our Health and Safety measures, we are having our students and staff in the affected class/es and other students and staff in the school who are considered a close contact move to a remote learning platform until all quarantining requirements have been met.
All staff and students who are involved have been notified via a phone call, email, or direct conversation. If you have not been contacted you or your children are not a close contact and you do not need to quarantine at this time.
In addition, we encourage all staff, students, and families to follow all the necessary COVID guidelines (wearing masks, staying home when sick, physical distancing, and handwashing) and communicate with one of our nurses if you or your children might have symptoms or have tested positive with COVID-19.

Please notify the Health Office if your child has received the COVID-19 vaccine. You can email the health office at satec_health@maplerun.org, or call 752-2685. Please remember to include the dates your student received both doses of the vaccine. Thank you!

SATEC Chromebook and iPad Return
This summer the SATEC IT Department will be servicing all school owned Chromebooks and iPads. The first step in this process is to coordinate the return of all devices. To help with this we are asking all families that have school devices at home to have their children return them on the following dates to their classroom teachers.
Grade 8 - Device and Charger return on Thursday, June 3rd.
Grades PK-7 - Device and Charger return on Thursday, June 10th
All school owned devices and chargers need to be returned before the last student day. Thank you for your help with this.
Open Gym Volleyball!
During the month of May we will open the gym afterschool to play volleyball scrimmages (intersquad or interdistrict) after school from 3:30-5:00pm.

Wednesday: May 26 3:30-5:00pm
