We look forward to welcoming all of the Green Day (Th/F) students for their first day of school on Thursday, September 10th.
Please bring the completed Health Screening Form with you when you drop your children off or when you send them on the bus! We will keep them on file for the year in the office.
SATEC Meal Pick Up
During the 2020-2021 School Year Meal Pick Up at SATEC will be available on Tuesday and Fridays (receive 3 breakfast and 3 lunches), between the hours of 11:30-12:30.
Meal Pick Up will be available at the front Window of the school
We do ask that you order ahead of time so that we can have an appropriate meal count. Orders need to be placed by 9:00 am the day of pick up. Please call or email tdeso@maplerun.org or 752-2700.
Currently all children ages 0-18 are eligible for free meals until further notice. We are hopeful this will last until December 31st.
We ask that families still complete the application for free/reduced meals. This will allow us to have the application on file when funding is no longer available.
Student Arrival/Dismissal
Arrival Reminders:
Student Drop Off: Students may be dropped off between 8:15 and 8:45. Students should not arrive at school before that time.
Cars will drop off students at the front of the building and all students will undergo a temperature check/health screening at that time. Students that arrive by bus will be dropped off in the back of the building where they will undergo a temperature check/health screening.
Dismissal Reminders:
Student dismissal will begin at 3:15.
Due to the need to contact trace during this time we will be printing bus rosters each afternoon at 1:00pm. Any changes need to be called in to the school by 1pm each day. Thank you for your understanding.
This year buses will depart from the front of the building. Students will be called down by bus and staff will be checking the bus roster to be sure that all students that are signed up for the bus that day are onboard
Pickup will occur in the back of the school. We will have staff there ask who you are picking up and they will be called from the classroom. We ask that you remain in your vehicle.
We ask that you remain patient as we adjust to these new procedures.
Fall Sports for SATEC students in grades 5-8 start on Monday, September 14th
Sign your student athlete up to be a part of our 2020 Fall Sports program here at SATEC. By signing up you will receive information regarding Covid-19 Guidelines, parent/player meetings, season schedules and more.
Before signing up, please make sure to understand the following changes for the 2020 Fall Sport Season regarding Covid-19 general guidance issued by the State on 8/11/2020 and amended by SATEC.
Fall Sports for SATEC will begin on Monday, September 14th and end the week of October 19th.
Facial Coverings are required to be worn by ALL players, coaches, officials, staff and spectators at ALL times. An exception is provided for participants in cross country- both practice and interscholastic meets/competitions- so long as physical distancing is maintained between individuals using staggered starts or means.
IF permitted under "Guidance for Specific Types of Sports", school-based fall sports may initiate interscholastic games and meets WHEN Vermont Schools will reach Step III as described in the Strong and Healthy Guidance. All Vermont schools will begin the Academic Year in Step II and the decision to move to Step III will be determined by the Department of Health.
To ensure that all Student Athletes have the same accessibility to practices and games and families to successfully arrange transportation, all practices and games will begin at 5:00 p.m.
As we move into the season, earlier times may be available.
There will be no transportation provided by the school to local games and scrimmages.
There will be no use lockers or locker rooms or to the building after school is dismissed.
